I just shared my 2014 goal progress (unfortunately, not much was made) and my new goals for 2015. I also told you all about my new plan to be more transparent with my spending and budget, namely by sharing where my side hustle income goes and how much I’m really spending on my horrid eating out habit.

I have been bad the last few months, showing my budget table with a $0 balance in lots of categories, when really I’ve been over budget many times. When I’ve been over, I’ve used my side hustle income to pay for these things, which is not why I decided to start side hustling to begin with. Anyhow, here is my last somewhat misleading budget report for December.

  1. Thanks for sharing!
I look forward to seeing the new format, as I’m still not sure what format I should post and share my budget and results. I will be posting my January budget this weekend, so I’ll have to make the decision pretty quick here.

Good luck with your debt repayment in 2015!

    1. I won’t be changing the table much, other than adding a couple of new/different categories, but I will be more honest with how I’m using the total of my income (including side hustle income) instead of just telling the story of how my FT job income is used. Good luck with your budget!

  2. Thanks for sharing. I’m starting to come to terms with the fact that I have a terrible eating out habit, too, hahaha and will be working hard to overcome it this year. I’ll be posting my debts on my blog more specifically, too, and this will hopefully keep me more accountable about it, too.

    1. Gosh eating out is so hard for me too! Hopefully we can both make good progress at overcoming our eating out habits!
