We're in our very last budgeting month of 2015! Woohoo! Check out my plans for my December budget via @shoeaholicnomore

I’m really looking forward to Thanksgiving tomorrow with my family. I’ll be hosting it at my house again and I’m really excited to get my cookin’ on!

We have some pretty fun Thanksgiving traditions to uphold and I hope the day cooperates with us.

After Thanksgiving, December and Christmas will be here before we know it. I am taking Friday off from posting as I’m sure no one will be around to read anyway as most people will be out shopping for Black Friday, or will be abstaining from the crazy and spending time with family and friends instead. Either way, I don’t think there will be much activity on the internet. ๐Ÿ™‚

That said, here is my budget plan for December.

CategoryMonthly Total
Saving$20.00
Mortgage$852.13
City Bill$115.00
Gas Bill$20.45
Cable$24.63
Internet$49.95
Phone$103.30
Fuel$50.00
Auto Insurance$101.61
Cleaning$90.00
Cash Spending$310.00
Debt$779.50
TOTAL$2,516.57
Business Income Required$2,520.00
Difference$3.43

I’m really glad that my budget is finally going back down after a few months of very high budgets with lots of extra expenses. It’s not too much lower than last months, but that’s because my rebate card that I was using for groceries is all used up and I budgeted for some extra cash spending this month as I know I’ll probably have a few holiday expenses that I’m not able to specifically think of right now.

The only other thing that’s not budgeted for that I might have to pay for this month is my remaining Christmas gifts for a couple of close friends. Other than that, I should be able to stick to my budget pretty closely.

Well, I’m keeping it short and sweet this month as there’s not too many crazy changes to my budget and I’m anxious to get all of my work done so I can take a break later this week to unplug and enjoy Thanksgiving food and the amazing leftovers. ๐Ÿ™‚

  1. Hi Kayla!

I have been stalking your blog for quite some time. You have inspired me so much to continue to save and become debt free. I have done quite a bit to overcome homelessness and paying off debt simultaneously. I know you are inspiring others by sharing your journey. I wish I had done the same but I will going forth.

    Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

    1. That’s so great to hear! You really made my day. If you are interested, I’d love to hear more about your story. I’m sure we can use it as a inspiration story on this blog or one that I manage. Let me know if you are interested. ๐Ÿ™‚
