If you’re on my email list, or if you read my income report a couple of weeks ago, you probably already know that I’m currently going through a re-brand. I’m so excited because the new site is ALMOST done. And it’s amazing!
I’ve been wanting this change for a while now. I have been feeling like my site no longer fit with my message or where I wanted my message to go.
If you’ve been reading since the very beginning, you know that I started this blog anonymously. I was at rock bottom in my life. My finances were a mess. I wasn’t sleeping through the night. I was trapped in fear.
Blogging pulled me out of all of that. But, I never imagined it would lead me to becoming self employed with the ability to call blogging and writing my full-time job.
Why It’s Time for Some Changes
I know a lot of people make their big changes around the beginning of the year. They think of January 1st as a time to start over. But for me, spring is the time when I feel like it’s time for changes.
Spring always has me wanting to refresh and renew my life. I get inspired and re-inspired to pay off debt, save money, improve my health, and declutter. This year I’m also inspired to finish my re-brand and start sharing my new messages with you.
What to Expect
You might be wondering what exactly to expect over the next couple of weeks as things finish their transition. My site will be at a new domain name – KaylaSloan.com – but don’t worry, you’ll be automatically re-directed there when you come to this site.
The site has a brand new look and feel. I am in love with the new design and I feel like it reflects where I am at this point in my life, since the new brand is all about me. Ha! 🙂
I’ve made big changes since starting this blog 3.5 years ago, and it was time for a change with my site to reflect my new life.
What isn’t changing is my overall message. There’s been a gradual shift in the way I blog and write since I started 3.5 years ago, which is completely natural. I’ve learned a lot and I’ve been so thankful to share it with you all that have been here since the very beginning. If you jumped in somewhere in the middle, that’s awesome too! I hope you’ll stick around for these changes!
The things I write about will pretty much stay the same- money, business, and life. They’ll just be organized a little better. 🙂
I’m also going to be launching an amazing resource center for my most loyal readers. It will include things I’ve shared as freebies here on the site in the past, like:
- The EXACT script I use to raise my freelance rates
- The $1,000 Dream Wedding Budget Template
- The Savings Challenges Trackers
- And my E-book
I’ll also be adding some awesome new things to the library to help you improve your personal finances, or launch and grow your own business.
Overall, I can’t wait to share the new changes with you and I sincerely hope you’ll stick around as I make this transition.
